Our primary training format is 2 1/2 day seminars presented to physicians (MD'S and DO's). We can also provide 4-hour introductions to the FDM as part of state or regional medical meetings, or for faculty and students at medical schools.

Training in the Fascial Distortion Model is provided in three modules, each 2 ½ days in length.  We recommend that physicians use the information from one module in their practice for several months before moving on to the next module.  Those physicians who have completed all three modules and are members of the American FDM Association will be listed on our website so that patients looking for an FDM practitioner will be able to access those names.

Module 1 covers the Fascial Distortion Model definitions, distortions, diagnosis and progression of distortions with an emphasis on treating injuries in the shoulder, knee and ankle.

Module 2 covers a good solid review of the model and how it works and treatment is focused on the neck, back and hips, including low back pain and sciatica.

Module 3 begins with a review of the model (definitions, diagnosis and progression) and treatment focuses on everything else: arms, hands and fingers, legs, feet and toes, carpal tunnel syndrome, kidney stones, headaches, and more.

One or two day advanced courses will also be held on specific topics, such as FDM Inversion Treatments, and treatment of post-stroke spastic paralysis.

Click on the appropriate Module link for dates, locations and other details for FDM seminars.  Our training philosophy is physicians first, so our current focus is on training physicians.  We are committed to bringing the FDM into mainstream medicine and to that end we are also eager to work in cooperation with medical schools to train faculty and students as well as area physicians.  Please contact us if you would like to arrange either a 4-hour introduction or a Module 1 in your area.
